The Swiss Ski Federation Swiss-Ski is the umbrella organisation of Swiss snow sports. Since its founding in 1904, Swiss-Ski has been one of the most important and successful sports federations in Switzerland. It brings together eleven disciplines under one roof: alpine skiing, cross-country skiing, Nordic combined, ski jumping, biathlon, snowboarding, ski cross, free ski, aerials, moguls and telemark. Swiss-Ski promotes elite sport and measures itself against the world’s leading sporting nations. At the same time, it places great emphasis on grassroots sport, enabling children and young people to access snow sports and contributing to public health.
